Eheim 2260/2262 experts! What is this?

Virgil2090 - I already checked, nothing even closely resembles it.

I'm leaning towards ck123 and deeda's suggestion. It is possible they threw in the wrong color by mistake.
 
I've checked on a couple sites and CK123 is correct, the new color is grey/black for the spraybar plug. It may not insert INTO the spraybar but might attach OVER the end of the spraybar.

Can you post a pic of the spraybar next to the plug/cap?
 
Deeda - It'll fit I think if I try a little harder. I was trying to be gentle (that's what she said lol) It's a new filter so I'm trying to be nice hehe

Since I don't have an end cap for the spray bar I'm thinking that's what it is. Might have been in the bucket all along.

its defo end cap for spray bar on the 2260, mine is exact same colour
