Is it an electrical problem? Check the electrical outlet.

Did you put the top green lattice screen ON TOP of the 'white filter stuff' with the legs facing up toward the lid? In other words, the lattice screen needs to be the last thing installed before putting the lid on.

Can you post any pics of how the filter is installed and filled with media?

Did your power go out? Was it making any strange noise prior to this ? If you plug it back in what happens? If nothing check the circuit breaker. Id make a new thread in this same sub forum

Ok I check everything I plugged it back up and it started working. I think the problem was that I had a airstone near the suction side and it sucked up alot of air and just cut off. I drained the canister and reprimed it its working now. Thanks everyone for your input.

There ya go. Try to avoid this as its detrimental to your filter
