I bought a 2262 for my 75 gallon I know overkill right?I should be able to remove my 2 emeror 400's and my magnum 350 I have on there now correct?I have wet dry filters on all my other tanks never really used a eheim before but heard good things any feedback or advice would be welcome.....

you had no need to do that you had plenty of filteration over filtered before I run 2 mag 350 on my 180 ray tank they do Great! you just need to use the right stuff pack it full!

Nice! I have always wanted one of those beasts! Leave the 2262 on the tank with media for at least a month then take out one of the emperors. 2 weeks later the next emperor can go, and a week after that the magnum can go. If the magnum has the 2 biowheels leave it there for an additional week!

he might have wanted to decrease the intakes and outputs in the tank, or use the other filters elsewhere.

Basically did it for the 1 filter solution instead of 3 its my umbee growout tank before I move a pair to the 300 gallon....I will most likely move it to the 300 at that time also....right now it just has a large wetdry system...

You are fine with the 2262 on the 55.. it's overkill but why not.? lol I have a 2260 and a 2262 on my 500g and it's perfect..

Pack that baby with Eheim substrate and you wont have to clean your filter for a year.. seriously.

what media did you use..
Its a 75 ,

And while its overkill the spray bar is a carry over from the 2060 I think either way its gonna spray like a fire hydrant.
My suggestion is to add additional 1/8" holes in the spraybar so you get more flow and your fish wont get blown all over the tank.

A good investment if you ever step the tank up to a 150-300 it will do a good job of filtering those.

You will have issues with flow rate.
Why is this ? Im curious as I am getting one for my monster tank soon after seeing you and others having good reviews about them.
