Eheim filter 2262 for $100

I found it for sell and he wants 100$ he said he bought it for 400 and had it for a year. And now he deosnt need it because he made sumps on his 270gallon. He won't give media with it since he's using it with his sump. I have a 135gallon will it be good for my tank?
I never heard of eheim are they good? Should I buy the filter. He said it doesn't leak as well.

Perhaps I'm just paranoid. But being that he's running a smaller and cheaper Fluval while selling the 2262, has the pump torn off the Eheim, says you can't return it, and is selling it so cheap.... makes me suspicious of what may be wrong with it. But with that said, whatever the issue, you may be able to get parts and still spend less than buying new.

Then ask him to set it up and make sure it works. I wouldnt pay him for something that doesnt work. 100 for the parts is still cheap but he needs to be honest with you instead of taking you for an idiot. So atl3adt you know what else if anything you would need to purchase.

Best can out there though. I have 1 on my 150 and its great
 
It looks like all the major parts are there and the double taps (quick disconnects) are worth the price. Just need to check if the pump works and if all the o-rings are there and in good shape. You may need new hoses to suit your set up as well as media. We can walk you through the set up if you don't have the instructions.

Omg I wrote it wrong . my phone is dumb I meant I can return it and that pic is mine I took the picture when I got it
