Wow the prices on fish supply and fish seem to be getting out of hand, I remember when you could brand new tanks for under $1/gallon and an expensive neon tetra was $.99.

It's not just the Eheims, either...I filled a cart last week of stuff, then went to place the actual order Friday...went to add a few things and realized that ALL the prices had gone up. Stuff that was supposedly on sale still cost more than it did when I added it to my cart, even though it wasn't on sale when I selected it.
Happily, it seems that having it in my cart locked the price at what it was last week...considering the size of the order and how much the prices jumped, that alone probably "saved" me $40-50

As stated above, everything is going up these days. Just check your grocery bills. Having said that, I just ordered a new Eheim
and am quite pleased with what I paid. Just be patient and keep waiting for the right price in combination with the right discount code

As for eheim and them being pricy...they are...and always have been and I just dont see it. I have had fluvals for years as well as eheims. I just set up a old 2213 on my snapping turtle tank thats 15 years old. I dont have my old fluvals anymore but they were sold working.
