there is a bushing in the motor body, down in the hole,
you'll need to pull the shaft carefully out of the impeller cover.
In the cover you'll see another bushing like the one down in the bottom of the hole.
Now, to assemble it:
make sure the bushing in the hole is pushed all the way to the bottom
next
slide the Impeller w/ magnet onto the ceramic shaft and put it in the hole and push the shaft all the way in.
Then put the impeller cover on the shaft and push it into the hole...
The broken part you have is the retainer ring...
When you get a replacement you'll just put it on the impeller cover and turn it to the right about 1/3 of a turn, locking the impeller, bushings, cover and shaft in place... all done servicing the impeller...make sure there is ZERO crap in there cause and sand and grit will wear those parts out...
BTW that shaft and impeller without the cover and retaining ring is about 80 bux, so treat it like a woman...
