got a 210g on the way cant decide on which system i should go with and is there much difference between the two ive looked around and found the pro3 for only $280 and i found a fx5 for $340 what do you guys think i think lower price plus i can always get a second pro3 later on but i still wanna here your opinions.

A member (brought a datnoids from me) is selling his used fx5 for $175 - should I buy it from him?
I don't know anything about the 2080... but I have checked the fx5 and rember seeing going for under 300.00... I think it was Al's... not sure...
two jags male 10" female 6" red bay snook 10" not sure of sex red pike 6" common pleco 13" and my rtc x tsn when its big enough just got as a juvi about 4"
Always choose Eheim when the price isn't an issue. Both filters are nice, but Eheims last forever!
There are two different families of pro 3 eheims. The pro 3E 2076 and the 2078 are rated for a 105 and 180 respectively. These can be found cheaper then an FX5 filter. The pro 3 which is rated for a 450gallon 2080 and the thermal version the 2180 are superior to the FX5. If you can get the 2080 or 2180 for $280 then go for it they last forever, also let me know where as I'm upgrading tanks and need a pro3.
The FX5 has a bottom drain so water changes can be made much easier if you have somewhere to connect it to. I'm very happy with the fluvals I have had in the past but Eheims just last a lot longer.
