Love em'. They were the first canister filters introduced to the market. I use some of their filter media too. Keeps my wallet nice & thin so I don't hurt my arse when I sit down.

i love e'm there they only canister filters i have ever delt with. got a good price e'm cuz i know the LFS manager pretty well.

I have the 2028, cant get over how quiet it is! My plecs can block it up in 4 days of heavy feeding though.....

Within my 10 years of being an aquarist, Eheim have always impressed me with their quality. It's not just that they're silent, it's that they stay that way year after year. Other brands I have tried have failed to do that. That's why i concider Eheim the best brand to go for in aquarium pumps and filter.

There was a post earlier about the new Eheim pro 3 and the Fluval Fx5 and the prices were approximately the same, actually if memory serves the fluval was the more expensive.
