Why not make a birdfeeder?
There are plenty of semi-squirrelproof to squirrelproof designs, and you can put it near a indow and watch the birds. You might even get some interesting birds you never knew lived near you.

I have a feeder and I filled it with some of the seeds but no takers have come yet.We have plenty of Cardinals,Bluejays and starlings around here as well as some other little yellow bird that shows up every now and then.

Squirrels aren't common pets. I imagine the food is for a squirrel feeder in the backyard. I once ordered a mug with a picture of my iguana and got someone's young daughter instead. Imagine the other person's surprise...

Lol, I remember you talking about how to get rid of squirrels, they were messing up your plants. I thought this was going to be about squirrels getting into fish food you ordered.

I’m not one to be afraid of animals/insects but that cuddlebug is terrifying! Yikes.

We feed our squirrels. I figure if anything it might distract from the soy beans in the grain bins. And now that our house cat has been going in and out(warm months and nice winter days) his hunting skills have been shinning. He killed mr. and mrs. fat squirrel as we called them. After they had a group of 5 babies. So their children live on.
I think our cat is letting them fatten up before he kills them off too.
He even killed a rat. That really impressed me. I don’t want those nasty things anywhere near the house.

Those ones, wellington Tree wetas, get a body about thumb sized add about half again for head and jaws.

The heaviest insect ever weighed though was their cousin. The giant weta.

That is an unbelievably large insect. And the fact that the hand holding it doesn't have a glove on...it looks like the stinger is digging into the hand! Where are they from?
