Could it be a Speckled Catshark -Halaelurus baesemani?

YES! I've only ever seen two of these in person. This was one of the pair.

Beautiful Shark Matt. They have a pretty wide distribution for a Catshark. Where is this pair from? Good luck with the pair!

As for a clue for the species above it is distributed threw South Africa and unconfirmed sightings in Madagascar
