I WAS running two heaters for a 150galllon during winter.. a 300watt and a 150watt.. just to keep a 80degrees average...
Tank is located outside my patio and during winter.. it was 48-58 for a good two months.... but average was 60 degrees from January to early April..
I dunno much about New York season.. but since summer is coming.. wouldn't it be a bit warmer??? or is NY similar to England's summer were is freaking cold at 58 degrees??? if it is.. i understand then...
I think running a FX-5 might help you.. but i dunno about the electricity voltage it requires...
It really is mainly ur three 300 watt heaters that pulling in ur electricity bill..
