Hello I have a 75 gallon tank. There are some EBA's and some bottom dwellers a stripes raphael, syno (eupterus) and 4 clown loaches (I know we will need a bigger tank for clown loaches and I will remove them from the 75) so I saw these guys that may be possible tank mates but I also wanted more experienced fish keepers advice

First one is a normal blue acara (6" I think) it has pale White vertical stripes on his body (only 3 close to tail fin) I would send a picture but I have no idea how to.

2nd one is my blood Parrot pair
They lived with my EBAs with no problem but the tank was overcrowded. Now They are in a Parrot tank. Would it make a problem? (like them becoming more aggressive or can They live with the normal blue acara)

Is this all the tank can take or can I add more fish (small cichlid) or (1 Senegal bichir) I don't want to overcrowded it again

AAnd the tank will be planted (heavily) with anubias for nitrate decreasing and cover for bottom dwellers and egeria (that long thin plant) for making cover to EBAs

Normal blue acaras and electric blue acaras are the same species, it's like electric blue rams, electric blue jack dempsies, or breeds of dog.

I know that. I am asking if the big non hybrid would hurt the juvies or blood parrots (deformed triangle shaped mouth)

Your tank already sounds overcrowded, or at least it will be with normal growth.
The question is not really will one acara hurt the other. If they end up a pair, they will eventually kill or harm, any other cichlids in the tank, (space competition)..
I also consider a 75 gal only big enough to hold one pair of cichlids (and some non-cichlids), because all cichlids are territorial, and a 75 has only barely enough territory for one pair of Acara's.
The real question might be, whether or not the already overcrowded conditions will quell aggression, or prompt it.
50/50

A friend caught 12 Acara's (Andinoacara coerleopunctatus)for me, very close cousins to your "blues" (Andinoacara pulcher).and some tetras and a pleco.
I put them all in a 180 gal tank, with a 125 tank/sump for filtration.
During the first year, the alpha male killed all other males, and a few females.
He left 3 females, the tetras, Pleco, and himself, as a tolerable population for his 180 gal territory, for the last couple years.
Just an example of the territorial needs of most cichlids.(especially the genus Andinoacara.
Below, male above, female lower.

How many is 'a few' EBA? 3, 4, 5, more? And how many are you planning to keep? Also how are your hiding spots and line of sight breaks? If the loaches are moving out, I would say you probably have room to add fish unless you're keeping all of the EBA. If you're just keeping 1, you have a ton of options. If you're keeping a pair, you could fit something like an Ellioti or Convict (avoid anything that much looks like them) provided there are real hiding spots and territory breaks. If you're talking about keeping 4 or more EBAs, your tank is full in terms of cichlids until a pair decides they don't want competition from the others. I think the parrot has a much better chance of working than another acara, but a breeding pair of parrots with what will likely be another breeding pair is asking for trouble. I wouldn't keep a bichir in a 75 personally, they get 18 inches pretty easily. Mostly just remember that andinoacara get grumpier and grumpier with other cichlids as they grow old. What works when they're a year or 2 old doesn't always work when they're 4 or 5. But they also often don't mind community fish they don't see as competition. If it were me, I'd keep a pair of the EBA and fill the tank with schooling fish.

I was pondering putting a few in with my CLs in my 75…..That answers the question of EBAs with CLs….75g sounds and looks spacious but it really isn’t especially once the CLs start getting size to them…….knowledge really is power…thanks for the share.
