Electric blue and platinum jack dempsey's to Canada?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just got a response, they don't ship to Canada, the fish have to go through wildlife inspection and he said it's an all day drive just to get there,so it's a no go,the search continues...

thanks, I've ordered from spencer jack before, but he doesnt deal in alot central americans, and when he does get his stocks are very limited,he doesnt have any blues in stock at the moment, that being said I have seen some he brought in and no offense to him, they weren't impressive, he gets in some really nice quality africans but as far as certain centrals go. not that great, and again no offense to him

I wish I could help you, but qualty EBJD s are hard to find where I live too (Massachusetts)
I picked this guy up for 30$ about 3 years ago. He is amazing. . . Can't your LFS order one for you? Here is a video from my you tube channel that you may enjoy.

My local fish stores have the poorest quality blues I have ever seen, I wouldn't bother asking them I know what im gonna get and it's just not good enough, there is a guy on aquabid named tampafishman that seems to have good quality blues, atleast they look good from the video, but he doesn't ship international so it's a no go for me, and most people around here have never even heard of a platinum jack so theres no options for that strain of jack

Absolutely awesome.... he is quite chunky too...what do you feed him other than worms

I feed him mostly Hikari Cichlid Gold floating pellets. The worms are really just a treat.
I guess I got lucky when I found him.

he's a beast!!! take good care of him,and remember that the quality of blues will get worse and worse as time goes on, so appreciate him and maintain his home well, I bred blues for so many years that when my male finally died it didn't think it was a big deal, then a few years later I started to look for a nice quality blue for my show tank and soon realized it was much tougher than I thought!! now im here complaining lol!
