Electric Blue Carpintis

Is this fish Line breed or Hybrid? It just looks like an Escondido with intense blue pearls.

I would post the fish but it is only 1.5 inches long and my camera sux. I have seen adults a time or 2 and they look amazing. I hope mine is a girl!

Likely because they don't exixst. Sounds like a LFS ploy to me.

I don't know if I am allowed to post this pic since it is NOT MINE but this is exactly what the 2 adults looked like that they had last year. This photo is from aquamojo.com. The store told me it was an electric blue carpintis.

The fish was only 8 bucks so ploy or not its a beautiful fish already at only 1.5 inches. Much brighter than any escondido I have ever seen.

The more I read the more I am leaning toward collection site. I found a few sites that state there are at least 4 color variations of Carpintis.
