grab him and close his mouth for him. He could have popped his jaw out of it's socket because of the other fish moving around etc.
be gental and close it for him, even if it doesn't "pop into place" his own muscles will eventually tighten enough to bring it back to place.

I tried to close his mouth for him, it doesnt work.
it's been more than a month now.. it's mouth didnt close yet...
