They sky rocketed in price about 3 months ago. Me and my mates picked up some young'uns just before christmas for around £15 ($30) but now they're double that at least over here!

I used to see the little guys for around 39.99, but now at 59.99, that seems a bit excessive, for that I'd rather spend my money on hard to find wild-type species rather than a 'selective bred' EBJD

Nah, I wouldn't take it. First off, they die much more easily at that size than other cichlids do. Second of all, you can buy, as said before, something more rare/healthier with that money.
