Electric Blue Jack Dempsey - 60 bucks for a 1 incher?

I just saw of tank of 1 to 1.5" for $60 also at my lfs. Way too much if you ask me!!! The unusual thing is, this lfs usually doesn't price fish this high.
 
Over a year ago I bought some 3"ers for $35 a piece, 6 months ago I sold a 5" for $65. I have also noticed the prices seem to be going up but what isnt at the moment?
 
Note, Aronald went via aquabid as Hollywood. (He is now selling shrimp under a different name.) (I forgot to add this in my past post. Didn't realize so many more were posted after it.)
 
some are as high as 75 bucks here around iowa city iowa
 
That largest one I've seen locally (not long ago) was around 3" for $70. No way I'm paying that.
 
In ****ing australia they are 1-2" for 60$ :-D
 
I paid $12 a pop for my 4. LFS price around here is $16 but they go fast when they get them in.
 
Most overpriced fish in the hobby, IMO.

Downgrade.
 
Well I have my eye on a 75 and 125 I would like to get. Right now I don't have any room.

My Midavil, Saum, Dempsey and Convict are already a lot for my tank.
 
hehe sucks for you guys i can buy any EBJD even 4-5in for 50$!!!! crazy price heh well the dude that sells/breeds them worldwide lives in Orange county
