The offspring will look regular but are carrying the blue gene.If you breed one of them back to an ebjd you will get about 50% ebjd

agree with what he said but maybe like 25% EBJD...somewhere there good luck...and if you want to sell some in a few months let me know :D

gomez was right with what he said. I breed EBJD's. Your eggs you have now will have no EBJD's. They will look like regular JD's but carry a blue gene. If you breed the blue gene babies with an EBJD you will get 50% EBJD and 50% blue gene. If you breed two blue genes you will get 25% ebjd, 25% carrying the blue gene and 50% that are just normal JD's

cool i heard that a few times... right now the female just got done with a batch. i think that my poor water quality was to blame for 2 no hatchings and she's stressing it seems. but as i was stating in an earlier post it might be from alot of algea i had blooming up due to some java moss in the tank. to be honest they tore it off of some driftwood. maybe they knew something i didn't.
but anyway i am trying to get them their own 75gal but right now it's taken up by a mono p-bass that is to big for some of my other inhabitants in the 120.
