They (reg. JD's) grow grow slowly compared to many other CA's... its often less than 1/2" per month.
My experience with normal JD's is that they grow pretty fast. Cuz my old normal JD grew rapidly from 2" to 8" in a year. But i was feeding him 2-3 times a day.richardhmc;662420; said:Right now, i have 3 1 inch ebjds. So if i feed them 2 -3 times a day, that will speed up their growth?
cuz from what cichlid_25 is saying, it might work!
I want my ebjds to growth and also my jds which are less than 3 inches

Would have pm'd you, but I haven't enought time on the board to do much beyond post. So... I'm also in NY, and have been working on raising ebjds for awhile now. I have one remaining out of the four that I've purchased. Usually if you can get them past the 3" stage they will survive. That's no guarantee, however, because I lost my bruiser when he was about 5". My remaining fish is somewhere between 5-6" now. Beautiful fish, but delicate.richardhmc;662420; said:Right now, i have 3 1 inch ebjds. So if i feed them 2 -3 times a day, that will speed up their growth?
