Electric Blue Ram (Pricing)

I was at House of Fins in Greenwich a couple of days ago and saw the most vibrant and amazing Electric Blue Rams (just a morph of german ram's I guess) they had on display. I asked one of the employees how much they sell for and he said 60 dollars a piece!

My question therefore is: is that a reasonable price for such a fish? I mean, they were REALLY stunning, but for such a small fish I couldn't tell if he was joking or not!

it was silly of me not to take a picture of them... much more colorful than the ones showing up on google search.

will be considering them if i make my new 55g a freshwater community (just not for $60 each)

Aquabid.com usually has them for around 20-30 for a pair.

Does anyone konw how long these live? Are they anything like the Asian harmone feed fish that crash and die in two weeks? Does anyone have any experiance keeping these fish?

I have seen $15-25 per fish around me and they were pretty nice. I don't know if they are quite as stunning as the one's the OP saw. I have the same questions as Aquareno, as I have friend considering them and I am somewhat leery.
