Does anyone konw how long these live? Are they anything like the Asian harmone feed fish that crash and die in two weeks? Does anyone have any experiance keeping these fish?

All ramirezi are short-lived, usually only a couple of years.

My electric blues are really healthy and vibrant. You have to be careful -- there are a lot of people on Aquabid selling sub-par ones. Look for the sellers who are breeding them here in the States rather than getting the imports.
