10" Is a good size for me as i don't want one thats gonna be huge.mudskipper;1196735; said:well, the only reason there are captive giants, is that almost all e-cats are wild cught. don't expect urs to get to me a 2 foot monster. 10" sounds about right. as said most are extremely agro, but in my case, he was 7", well trained, did tricks, and ate only things small enough. i kept silver dollars aand blue gourami with it, as long as it was nowhere close to mouth size. synodontis cats are recommended, because they have a highly shock resistant skin, and fare well with e-catsin almost all cases. my e cate ate a 3" male melanochromis auratus, one of the most agro african cichlids, so in my case, the agressive ness of the other fish did not matter. it was all about the bite size littleguys. i kind of of overfed mine because it beged me, plus, i fed it alot of wild thingsi caught. worms, grasshopers, crickets. it probably caught a disease. live and learn. if i get another e-cat, i will not do that again
Unless you feed yours up.Red Devil;1196723; said:Then you have a head start..![]()
