I'm Where I'm At
Will an E-Cat zap me or everyone :nilly::WHOA: in the tank if I net it out or had a hard time netting it out??

I'm thinking about moving it or selling it and just wanna know if there's anything I need to know. Will current run through nets??

Any input would help! Thanks in advance!

yes it will zap you and no it doesnt hurt
I would think that a large enough E-cat would hurt.

Being zapped or not depends on what instrument you use to get him out. Wood, fabric and plastic doesnt conduct electricity so using those materials to get him out wont hurt you the slightest. To be even safer, you can prod him gently with the net for a minute or so before you pick him up to discharge most of the 'lectricity from the organ.

Thanks guys, I'm just a little nervous,............. never handled e-eel or e-cat. the thing is, i gotta get wet to reach him

Maybe I'll wear rubber gloves that go all the way up your arm,.........

Probably doesn't hurt as bad as a broken heater with exposed element in the water! Can you say 350 w of shocking reality! Heater looked fine when I reached in, but it was smashed, and current running throughout the tank. Talk about a hair raising expirience!
