Electric Catfish - Resting Vertically

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Keep us posted please, if it goes on and when/if it stops. Seems peculiar and might be informative.

Has anything changed at all? Diet, tank mates, water, temp, hardness, pH, lighting, aeration, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, etc.?

Are you aware that current / voltage leaks can occur in aquariums from submerged electrically driven equipment?

EDIT: come to think of it, you haven't answered my question. Is this a change in its behavior or the usual?

I've noticed over the last few months. Nothing has changed as far as tank.mates go. I currently keep him in a 50 gal with 4 Microctenopoma congicum. I plan on moving him to a 105 gallon in a few weeks. Just have to reseal the tank.

Water perameters haven't changed. As stated before. He's very active during the evening. Still a glutton at feeding time.
