Electric Catfish?

Theres so many different electric cats..some grow huge and some don't. i still do not know what kind mine is... i like them though.. he is a smart little sausage .. he comes out to eat when ever he sees me.. 
I wish i could find what month it was in... {a few months ago}... Tropical Fish Hobbiest had a whole slew of info about the electric cat.... maybe you can do a search and bring it up... it had all the types and lots of info about keeping them..and great pictures
I had one about 7 years ago, He grew to over 3 ft. He was slow growing but the larger he got, the more aggresive he was. He ended up killing anything I put in with him. He had alot of personality though.
unfortunatly not, I had him when i was working at my lfs in high school. After school I sold him.
I'm thinking that it was more of a sight to see when moving it from the tank... at 3' it would pack one hell of a charge... definetly knock you on your butt
