Hello; I did the same for my house. GFIC outlets in the kitchen and both bathrooms. These have worked well enough except for one. It trips a more often than the others, some of which have never tripped.
I installed a GFIC outlet in my fish room for a time but took it back out. I may have gotten a weak or not quite correct one. It tripped too often and was a pain to get at to reset. I need to get another and try again or perhaps a GFIC power strip. I think they are the way to go around water.
Of course I have been at this for a while and back in the 60's and 70's with metal rimmed tanks and metal lights and I have been stung a few times.

I've only had tanks for almost 20 years, only been or almost zapped once. My sump on my marine tank had the return pump just below a metal halide light fighting. I was adjusting the pump a little an the return hose popped off the pump which blew a 9000 LPH stream of saltwater into the light fitting, the interior of the stand and me. I thought a felt a little tap across my whole front and everything shut down.

Not really sure if I got a few millisecond zap or just splashed and startled to be honest.
