That's crazy. I kept waiting for the caiman to let go, but maybe he wasn't able to.

The brazilians are saying that the croc is dead.

What amazes me is what the eel was doing half out of the water. There is no mention to it being caught on a line, neither do I see one.

If the eel died, these guys killed it.
If the caimen died, these guys killed it.

There IS a rope, it looks like they pulled the eel up on land by the caiman to make this happen.
Look right by the tree on the ground at 25 seconds after he whistles before the caiman strikes you see the rope move!
At 41 seconds you see the rope in one of their hands.

Caiman is clearly alive. I think they stunned it like that on purpose. prob for dinner. shows u the resiliance of crocs.
