electric eels as a power source?

I paid $99 for him, was $199 but he got damaged by a rock that fell on his tail so he dropped the price.
Wow! I thought I was crazy buying a 20 dollar fish. Can they be kept with other fish? I think they would just eat or kill them.

$20??? Wow.... I spent $1500 on a FRT and $900 on my second one, $500 for a 5lb Umbee and about that for a 5lb Dovii, $600 for a 20" tig and several other tigs and $300 for Scarlet pleco, $1500 for a pair of Hens and $1200 for a breeding group of Motoros 
So yea, like above, you have a long way to go
