I've seen one for sale on Canadian aquatics a while ago, but like ihonesty said, they're pretty hard to come by.

agreed. arent they capable of a 500-1000V shock? lol in japan, they used one to light a christmas display at a mall. i saw the article awhile back!!There is a video on youtube where a big alligator was biting a big electric eel and the eel sent out its shock, and the alligator died from the electric shock. In my opinion, that is a very dangerous fish.
