Electric shock in tank

Yup , btw do you guys think this vpuld be the cause of the shock? It was still plugged in when i was doing the aquarium did not noticed it was still plugged in and not working

It's all a process of elimination.
If when you unplugged it, and touched the water, and you didn't get a shock when you touched the water..then you found the problem.
