electric sockets and tanks

GFI outlets and if you really want to go nuts get an outdoor outlet.. some of them have lil doors that flip open that are worthless when something is pluged into them.. but their are others that have full covers with holes in the bottom for the cords.. they do a great job of keeping out water

On top of the mandatory circuit breaker, everyone should be using a DRIP LOOP. This simply means to let your electrical cords hang so water cant run down the cord directly to the powerpoint (electrical outlet). Google "drip loop" if you need more explanation or diagrams.

If a powerboard can accidently drop into a tank, I shorted the cord or tie/screw it down so it physically cant.

Hello…
I have a question… Can you plug a power strip into another power strip?

Yes.

You'll want to be careful how many things you try to plug into one outlet of course. There's a reason rooms only have so many outlets. If one circuit has too much on it, the breaker will constantly be tripping

Also, if you do one power strip into another, the first strip should be a heavy gauge wire (12 or 14) since it will be carrying a heavy load.

My friend took a sturdy plastic bubble and cut it out for the cord to go through. He then put the bubble against the wall around the socket and taped it on with clear packing tape. He also taped up where the cord went through.
