Actualy many animals that were considered next to impossible to keep and breed are now regularily kept and bred once the husbandry tecnikes got better;) For example most chamaleons, many other lizards, some snakes, etc. These may be the next. One of the keys is think outside the box, at the conditions a species faces in the wild and apply them to captivity

In the wild they don't have anyone reaching into their habitat once a weak with a plastic hose. It very well could be that simple of a problem for keeping them alive.

Well shoot...The dorm I'm going to be in next year has a tank size limit of ten gallons...Looks like this little project is going to have to be put on hold for a little longer than I expected. But it'll still happen eventually! Looks like I'll have to feed my habit with a little micro tank for now...

This idea may be back on for next year. I'll be renting an apartment with my brother and a few friends next year instead of the dorm, so no rules on how large a tank I can have or what can go in it. Obviously I'll need to negotiate with the other people living there, but with any luck this plan may go into action as early as the end of this summer!
