Elephantnoses in Halo 3????

Wow that's awesome..

Maybe they chose elephant noses per programmers request or something.. could also be that they were just looking for the most 'out-of-this-world' type fish they could find.

Odd choice of fish, to say the least!
 
what I don't get is why the elephantnoses are just swimming out in the open in a barren river. Obviously the designers don't know about morymorid behavior

The developers probably had elephantnoses in a tank in the studio.
 
The only fish likely to survie would be coldwater fish, or adapting cichlids, cyprinids and characins.
Baffles me as to why they chose a strange fish. I supose the general public would think its a 'fake' fish anyway.

Yeah, it's a game worth giving a try, Ben. At least multiplayer is good.
But yes, that is so strange...elephantnoses. How random?
