This is a roaming herd of Elk that travel around the Olympic Peninsula. As you can see there are houses in the background. About 35 total.

Damn Cdog i hope you know you're killing me right now... I've always wanted to try elk hunting but everyone i know only deer hunts..:irked:

A guy I work with just came back from Wyoming a couple weeks ago with 2 six points. He has some amazing pics as well. I don't hunt, but I figured there might be a few that would enjoy the pics. There has got to be someone to go Elk hunting with?

Absolutely right. I have seen 2 large herds on the same day. This one is Sequim and another one in Forks. They are right next to the HWY, but don't usually stay in the same field for very long.
