great picture...just wonderful to see... what a beautiful area with hills and valleys and the elk...
have any of y'all been to the rocky mountains? i hunt elk every year and love it. just seeing the elk are amazing. thats an amazing shot and for roosevelt maybe a huge herd but here in wyoming a herd of 300-3000+ elk is not uncommon. ive seen them that large. beautiful animals alltogether
This herd travels around the area of town in and out of the mountains, but does not get bothered by anyone. The picture of them is no more than 50 yards from the freeway. They are a major attraction for new people coming to town, but for local residence they can unfortunately be a nuisance.
