No, I didn't mean that. I'm sure they have been sexed correctly. What I am saying is that there is no sexual dimorphism between sex, other than the male is bigger. I raised a number of elioti, and I have trouble sexing them until they paired up and the female dropped the egg tube.

They seem to show a little interest in doing so once in awhile but never commit... not sure if I just leave them to decide or if there is something in their environment that isn't quite right..
