I highly recommend not mixing panaque and rays. I've tried it a couple times, and the rays got eaten every time. Pseuda or some other pleco worked but never panaque, at least for me.

@ Canada Pleco : I have several experiences from different people... but thanks for the advice, I'll be aware of it and I'll check this very carefully... I guess if Panaque have what they need (plenty of wood), there's no reason they would "taste" the rays. But anyway, I'll be carefull.

Unfortunately, the 1,600 liters cold water set up has been dismantled to be replaced by the 10,000 liters Pota tank... I hadn't enough place into my fishroom to keep both of them...
