how is the eel doing now? Years ago I worked at a big box store, and we had some G. tile in, and they were near death as well, 2 died and one was left, and out of desperation it was essentially just moved from FW to SW with no real acclimation, and no lie, it ended up behaving and eating well normally in just a week or so. Not saying it should be done or recommeded, but these are pretty resiliant animals, and yours seems to be on the right track if you're seeing improvement that quickly

all my fish can/will be full salt.

Good deal, I just wanted to make sure you knew. Snowflakes get put in brackish conditions a lot due to miss information from LFSs. And in this thread people keep talking about G.Tiles which is a completely different animal.

Gtile: Gymnothorax tile Echidna nebulosa

Snowflake: Echidna nebulosa

There are no TRUE freshwater morays but a few can "tolerate" it, even G.tiles only venture into brackish water to breed. I can imagine how awful life would be living a glass box full of water that makes you horny with no girls or hands... Got a little side tracked there but non-the less I didn't mean to jump on you or assume you were miss informed, but its sites like this:

http://www.****************/catalog_pages/sharks_eels_loaches/eels_moray.htm

that encourage me to ask just to be sure :)

Sad, but true that many of these eels suffer through their life in captivity under these conditions (I just found the phrasing amusing).
