I had a big senegal bichir eat a ropefish once, killed both of them. Don't pull it out! When I yanked the dead rope out of the poly, well...lets just say if it wasn't already dead, it would have been then. Just hope the gar finishes swallowing it...

Simple words.. Gars swallowed tire track eel.. chokes on it.. spines of eel stuck in the gills and stomach.. cannot digest.. tried pullin it out..not working.. noticed he stopped breathing..and his heart is still beating..no other movements at all...

Well if the eel is stuck, there's only one direction for it to go and that's towards the stomach.
