i took it all apart and cleaned it and still crap. with the spray bars facing the back of the filters no water is put into the tank. only when the spray bars are facing the bio wheels do i get any water return to the tank.

Is your impeller turning? Is it making a lot of noise? Did you check your intakes?

impeller is turning it is very quite.

Um, try pouring water into the back when you start it, it may not be primed. (don't take my head off but are your filters clogged?) I'm trying the simple stuff. Where did you get it? Have you called marineland yet?

i just got off the phone with marine land and they are sending me a new impeller under warranty.

the guy said they have a problem with the two sets of blades on my model.

+1 on the emperors, i sware by marineland..... great filters.. aquaclear is very good too but the intake tube looks disgusting after a while in the tank, its like o beautiful fish, and see threw intake tube that you can see nice wads of hung on **** and waste.. the marinelands are nice black and non see through, plus like others say, they are workhorses just take a mall pipe cleaner and give the spray bars a good cleaning, they need it from time to time

Problem solved. It's good to know that they make good on their warranty as well, I've never had to use it, but just in case. Glad you got it worked out.
