So as far as the bio fin filter and the stryoglass foarm insert, do they replace the regular cartridge with the blue sponge on it, or do they replace the grey media trays? or does one replace the trey and the other replace the cartridge inserts? I'm kind of confused on this one, dont want to end up buying a bunch of the wrong parts and have extra stuff sitting around, if each one of those goes in different slots, then I would probably by a group of each and load my emperors with both kinds of those filters/ media and see how well it works... it looks like it would darn near turn a emp400 into a wet/dry canister like hob, no? In that case that could probably be amazingly effective! And increase their value/efiiciency by a long shot! The 2 emperor 400s are all i have on my 125gallon and i have one emp400 and a ac110 on my 75gallon, I'm also thinking of cutting my glass and adding a ac110 on my 125 gallon tank as well. And perhaps maybe sometime getting an xp3 (when i have fundage) as they seem to be the biggest bang for the buck canister by a long shot from what i gather.
