No.Its a Microlepis and a Champsochromis.he got to 14in before he choked on a 4in peacock! I only had the 1,less than a year,he was only 5in when purchased. I sold the trout,but I have offspring which are around 6 in now and coloring at 11mos.
I also had a fish die Choking on its dinner (It was a nile perch (Lates niloticus) ) I Hate when that happens !!!! It was a KOI that did him in , At a foot long and after having 6 months I was so sad ..... Sorry
