Emperor Snapper

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Here is a picture of my Emperor Snapper. He shares the system with other Snapper speciese, and Groupers, Triggers, Arothrons, and Volitans.
The Emperor has an appetite to match the Groupers, so feeding is no problem. They are a fairly peaceful fish, but are able to hold there own during a tear-up.

marine fish grow slower than fresh IMO you sould get a few years before he hits 24''

edit to my first post:
i meant 500 not 300

Heres mine, Just upgraded him into a 150g. Hes about 7". When he gets to big for my tank I have a SW store around called Aquarium Technologies [Columbia Station, OH]
that has a 675gal setup that will take him.
Hes in the tank with a grouper, a niger trigger, a larger volitan, a yellow tang, a hawk and a snowflake moray and doesn't bother them at all. But man, he eats me outta house and home.
