I bought the Penguin 350. The Emporer was 90$, and the Penguin was 45$. Did I make the right move?

The emperor is a great filter, I had two for about ten years. The company is not very good about warranties though. I had trouble with one, the impeller didn't work after a week. I wrote them to find out how to return it, and they were no help.

I also got tired of hearing that dripping noise all the time and the biowheel squeek once in while. I started using FLUVAL cannister filters and I'll never go back. You have so much control over filter media with a cannister.

Yea I have an Eheim 2215 on the 75 with the Penguin. I no I almost crap myself when I saw it for 90!!

i like the pequins i have never had a problem with the althought i have never paid that much

Both are good filters IMO, but I wouldn't pay that price for either of them.

First: What does IMO mean?
Second: What do you believe is a good price for either of them
