i would not reccomend a pair of clowns.

You could do a single occelaris or percula clown.

Thanks. would the yellow watch men goby need the shrimp and lots of sand? If I find out what was killing my fish in my other tank and it is a mantis shrimp im definently going to put it in.

Not need, but by pairing the goby with a pistol shrimp, it sure would make your tank a lot more interesting and enjoyable.

Also, a 10 might be too small for the mantis, depending on the type of mantis.

I found one at my LFS for 30bucks at baby size of 1.5" was tempted to get it.. but 30bucks.. naw...
