The blenny would be ok.. I'm not sure about the basslet. Another thought would be to also add some liverock and get a lawnmower blenny.. They have big personality. Very cool little guys, they eat algae and only get about 5"

An idea might be to peruse the saltwater fish at http://www.liveaquaria.com. They describe each species needs, diets, sizes, and reef compatibility.
I have 5lbs of live sand but im going to get more and I only have rock ruble in the tank but im will get more. Yes the fairy basslet and the red scooter blenny. But a 5" fish in a 10g tank? i dont know about that but those lawnmower blennys look awsome!
No not any kind of mushroom.. research those. some get huge and will actually eat a fish.
If you have a good liverock supply even though it's a 10 you can keep a lawnmower no problem. I've been doing it for awhile now. You can supplement with seaweed, algae and he keeps things clean. Its win win. However with zoos and mushrooms you might want to get power compact lighting.
