Thanks for the offer, but looking forward to raising an O from a tiny guy to the monster he will be. Thanks again, but I'll have to pass.

What media do you run in your cascade 1500s'?

I use two of the black sponges at the bottom, Seachem Matrix for bio and white pads on top with a Seachem Purigen bag between.

Just another issue with the Cascade: They have a ton of bypass. To help cut down on this get yourself some bulk bonded filter pads (blue/white type) and cut out 1 1/2" long strips. Wrap these around the bottom and top baskets. Its kind of a pain and I usually use a thin tool like a butter knife to tuck it in place. This method really helps cut down on the bypass. You can tell because the white pads on top will stay cleaner for a longer amount of time, which means it does not just by pass through to the top pad like it normally does.

i would go with 1 oscar, 1 gt, 5 silver dollars

I do like the look of the green terror, but heard that they don't call them "terrors" for nothing. Can an oscar handle an aggressive gt? I was leaning towards the blue acara for the looks of a gt without the "terror"?

1 Oscar
1 Severum (Green, Gold, Red, or Rotkeil)
4 Silver Dollars
2 Bristlenose

Now this list is growing on me. Thanks! Goto go with the Rotkeil Severum if I can find one local.

1 oscar
1 GT
1 severum
4 clown loaches

Hello folks! So my 125g has been up and running for a little while now and everything has been going great. I have stocked it with 4 silver dollars, 1 albino oscar, a blue acara and a rainbow shark. I am seeking input on another medium cichlid to add to the tank. Or do you think my stock is good the way it is for the size of the tank? Thanks in advance, have a good day.

Oh I would do Another Oscar

How about one of those designer JD's the neon blue guys? They are nice looking fish.
