Sorry, 1000 neon tetras on bath salts and grow them out.

I was thinking doing 5 3'' rbp and letting them grow. Also to add in the above idea, add a school of neons or cardinals(without the bath salts part).

IMO Oscars and Red Devils don't look good in 55's they look WAY to big for the tank.
