I'll go against the grain here. How about a plant tank? If you can figure out lighting and CO2, fish and plants are cheap. Everyone loves a huge planted tank.

Hi-fin sharks like cooler water and my hatchery is uniformly heated instead of using in-tank heaters. Running a chiller will be a constant battle between the heat pump and chiller that'll only kill me with the utility bills.

Plants in a 34" deep tank. No thanks. The amount of lighting needed will have an astronomical price tag.
