I would probably go with a group of beardies or ackies or uromastyx or jeweled lacertas (do these even show up at shows?). Not sure the 2' height is enough for some of the mentioned arboreal species (basilisks), and I think you'd want a bit more width for something like an argentine tegu. I've heard great things about the blue tongued skinks but I haven't kept them before. I suppose a water dragon would work (Chinese or Australian).
